Footings and framing. Built to code, with proper flashing and drainage so the structure lasts.
Decking, railings and finishes. Then a final walkthrough together.
How long does a deck or exterior project take?
A new deck usually takes two to four weeks of construction. Covered structures, pergolas and siding projects typically take three to six weeks, depending on size. Permit timing varies by city, and we’ll give you a timeline before we start.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Many decks do, especially raised decks or ones attached to the house. We’ll check the requirements for your city and handle the permit.
Can you replace siding and windows at the same time?
Yes, and it’s often the best time to do it. Doing both together lets us flash and seal the windows properly as the new siding goes on.
Can you add a cover or pergola to an existing deck?
Often, yes. We’ll check that the existing structure can support it.
